DEFANGO hangs with VICE NEWS to talk about QAnon -- questions orbit about Texas AG Ken Paxton

Updated: Oct 29, 2020

As a commentator recently stated, "YouTube mainstreamed QAnon, and now they are cancelling QAnon accounts". Too little, too late?

It appears as if the so-called "notorious Internet provocateur" Manuel Chavez, III (aka DEFANGO) is becoming the latest person of interest among "reporters" and QAnon researchers (which appear late to the QAnon party).

The latest "johnny-come-lately" appears to be VICE NEWS, which apparently has showcased Chavez in some kind of "documentary".

Broadly, QAnon followers believe President Trump is waging a war against a shadowy cabal of entrenched politicians who traffic children for occult and sexual purposes. It sounds strange and novel, but as the West Point paper points out, it’s a repackaged version of old conspiracy theories.

“Based on the authors’ observation of QAnon activity on Telegram, there is a growing overlap between QAnon channels and more extremist channels affiliated with the proud boys, paramilitary groups, and white supremacists,” they said. “QAnon is arguably no longer simply a fringe conspiracy theory but an ideology that has demonstrated its capacity to radicalize to violence individuals at an alarming speed.”

Vice has been stacking its management team with suits, Last week, Condé Nast publishing veteran Richard Beckman became its chief revenue officer. He joins recent hires like Chief Operating Officer Alyssa Mastromonaco, who worked for the Obama administration, and Co-President James Schwab, a lawyer who advised on the creation of Dreamworks and The Oprah Winfrey Network.

Alyssa Mastromonaco is the Chief Operating Officer of VICE. She previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations in the administration of President Barack Obama from 2011 to 2014.

Mastromonaco worked as the Director of Scheduling for Senator John Kerry’s presidential campaign in 2004, and before that was Press Secretary for Congressman Rick Boucher of Virginia. She has worked for President Obama since February 2005, when she first joined Obama’s United States Senate office as Director of Scheduling. After that, Mastromonaco was named the Political Director for Obama’s Political Action Committee, Hopefund, during the 2006 midterm elections. Mastromonaco served as Director of Scheduling and Advance for Barack Obama’s presidential campaign beginning at his announcement in February 2007.

It appears that VICE NEWS can put the "cool" back into the so-called QAnon movement to appeal to youthful readers. QAnon, which DEFANGO has taken credit for, appears to be a right-wing pro-violence political movement.

It all started at the 2017 DEFCON hacker convention in Las Vegas, Nevada when Chavez apparently claimed that the concept for QAnon was "brain stormed".

New rumors are circulating in the blog-o-sphere that Chavez (DEFANGO) had a BBQ lunch with Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton to talk about his wife, Angela.

Apparently a BBQ lunch took place with AG Ken Paxton, Dallas businessman Edward Butowsky, Thomas Schoenberger and DEFANGO on 2/17/2018 to discuss "Angela's election".
